SUMMARY:Sex work and the law: The implementation of the Nordic Model in N. Ireland
DESCRIPTION:In 2015\, Northern Ireland adopted the ‘Nordic’\, or ‘Criminalisation of the purchase of Sex’ model in regards to sex work. \nThis is a controversial approach to controlling sex work; and is the subject of some debate. Four years after its implementation\, the Department of Justice funded a review of the law. \nAt this event\, the researchers who conducted the review will disseminate their findings. Their presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. \n
